Can you garden?
Mystic Medusa takes a poll. I'm a Taurus who CANNOT garden. I'm just happy I've kept one plant alive in my life.
I usually tell people that you will fit MOST of the stereotypes about your sun sign, but there will be a few where you outright don't, and that's one of them. (Also cooking, which I might have liked had I not been yelled at in the kitchen so much by my Virgo rising mother, and jealousy, which I've never understood.)

I would not automatically associate the sign with either gardening or cooking--those two have a Cancerian quality involving nurturance. Taurus is more about pleasure, pure and simple, and ANY activity not intrinsically pleasing would in most cases be avoided by a Taurus.
All of this is, of course, conditioned by aspects and house placements. But the essence, as with all sun signs, is always there in some measure.....
And I would add that one's sun sign relates more to THE TIME OF YEAR, AND, MORE SPECIFICALLY, TIME OF SEASON, WHEN ONE WAS BORN, rather than to any current position of constellations. We are, for now, of the Earth, whether we like it or not, and it is the home, along with our bodies, that we need to tend to for any longed for Renaissance to occur.
