Nodes and eclipses
In general, your North Node now represents something foreign, something you will learn to love & embrace in this Lifetime, only after conditions represented by your South Node are to be lived again... in order to purify this placement (your South Node) to it's highest potential. Then, you will begin to fully embrace what your Soul is truly desiring to experience in this life... your North Node (by Sign & by House).
What may seem contradictory at first ~ (Your Pre-Natal Lunar Eclipse (what you are wanting to integrate & learn)...
...in the same sign as your South Node (aspects of your character that have been over emphasized in past lives) ~ perhaps may be quite a "gift." :confused:
As you mentioned, "it doesn't feel like I should leave one of the two directions behind in this lifetime for they both seem important and helpful to me." ~ ...are you aware of any qualities about your consciousness represented by your South Node (by Sign & by House) that you do not feel "complete" with?
So, it's actually kinda beautiful to set up your Natal Energies (Birth Chart) so that your Pre-Natal Lunar Eclipse energies (what you are wanting to integrate & learn) will assist your South Node to purify & "re-learn" the archetypes of your S. Node, by House & by Sign... to it's highest level of refinement & potential.
Then you are free to fully embrace the "new muscle" you are exercising ~ ...your North Node!
