Lesson #1: If you’ve got Saturn in Leo, keep your ego in check. Saturn in Leo can mean all kinds of things, but one of the things it can mean is you gotta keep that ego in check. Because Saturn in the sign that rules the egomaniac in all of us indicates that the ego can become a burden, a hindrance, an obstacle and a general source of bad moodness all around if it’s not turned into discipline and self-control.That’s partly because West having Saturn in this sign indicates it’s not exactly ego in the positive sense of self-confidence, but an ego born out of Saturn’s specialties: fear, insecurity, and a driving sense of need. And that just doesn’t work all that well, as things so frequently don’t when Saturn’s got the reins.
Lesson #2: If your Jupiter and sun in Gemini are opposite your Neptune in Sagittarius, somehow you gotta teach yourself how to keep your lips zipped sometimes. It’s great to have Jupiter conjunct sun usually, although it does have a tendency to inflate the sense of self. But when you’ve got a blabbermouth sun and a blabbermouth Jupiter opposing a blabbermouth Neptune, things can occasionally get out of control. Sagittarius is known for its blunt willingness to speak its mind, even when other people wish it wouldn’t. It’s an impulsive sign as well. This honesty can be all well and good, or at least useful on occasion. But Neptune is also the planet that will get itself all tangled up in delusions, and Neptune in Sagittarius will happily spout those delusions given an eighth of a chance.

Gemini Girls

It has come to my attention that Geminis didn't even have a tag for them on here before today. Wait, what?

So, here's a tribute to 'em.

"For any of you who know a Gem girl, I'm sure that you can agree that they are loving, endearing friends - and exhausting all the same. Nothing is ever settled with Gem girl. Nothing is ever really "finished" and nothing is ever really over. It's always a work in progress with the end result being constantly manipulated by our Gem girl. Tell her she's right, and she'll find something else wrong. Tell her she's wrong, and watch her go to great lengths to make it right. Listen to her at a dinner party portray herself as a soccer mom and then watch her work the room like a vixen. Whichever side you witness will greatly depend on her use for you."

Venus in Gemini = blunt?

So I was reading this article in Entertainment Weekly about Megan Fox. I never gave a crap about her before, but the girl is brutally honest about herself and I enjoyed it immensely. I have so much more respect for her now.

"I'm terrible in it. It's my first real movie and it's not honest and not realistic. The movie wasn't bad, I just wasn't proud about what I did.
What percentage of your range have people seen so far?
Seven percent. On the new one, I tried. But unless you're a seasoned veteran, working with Michael Bay is not about an acting experience.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: You're a bigger star now than when you did the first Transformers. Did they beef up your role in the sequel?
MEGAN FOX: The humans are still secondary to the robots because it's a movie about robots. I feel like the part is adequate. I feel like we do something that's watchable on our end and then ILM makes it phenomenal.
You don't sound convinced that this is the greatest movie on earth.
It's not trying to be the greatest movie on earth. It's going to be the best action movie of the summer. Hands down, it will win that. But it's not trying to be a Golden Globe-nominated film. It's a badass popcorn summer movie.
Do you think you're a good actress?
I think I could be. If I really buckle down, I think one day I could be a very good actress. But so far, I haven't done anything yet.
Okay, well, do you think you have a Monster in you down the road?
I think that I'm so psychotic and so mentally ill that if I could tap into that I could do something really interesting.
Looking ahead, where would you like to see your career in five years? What's the best-case scenario?
If I'm still making Transformers five years from now, I might not be so überexcited. But there's nothing specific that I need to accomplish. I just want to still be working.
What's the worst-case scenario?
Umm...that I'd be on The Hills?"

Naturally, I had to check her for big-mouth indicators in astrology. Doesn't have any major ones (a few outer planets in Sadge), no clue on the rising sign, but she does have Venus in Gemini, like the similarly honest-big-mouthed RPattz.

Hmmm. Is that also a sign of big-mouthery? I kind of wonder. I went and asked around....

The signs you don't like.

We've all got signs people just don't like, get along with. (Apparently with most of y'all, that would be Scorpios, but that's clearly not my issue!) Mine are Geminis and Cancers. Mainly because the Gemini friends I have had just dumped the hell out of me out of the blue- or periodically come back and dump me AGAIN. Really, what the hell? As for Cancers, home and family are the worst things in my life and my personal Kryptonite. Want to weaken me and try to destroy me? Lock me up at my mom's for the weekend. I don't know how Elsa didn't wring the neck of this guy. I cannot deal with someone whose lifeblood and soul are home and family, because I loathe that all so much. Okay, odds are they had better home and family than I did, but still, I feel like those areas of life have been poisoned for me and I will NEVER want to make one of my own.

Oh, speaking of today, I am SO not answering my phone.
